Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Jack heads to the Presidential Palace to retrieve Greer. When the polls are shutdown, violent protests erupt outside the palace, and Jack must make a decision that could determine his future.
Our Take
A tense, propulsive finale that mostly sticks the landing. The palace standoff delivers real suspense, and the decision Jack faces carries actual weight after two seasons of buildup. Some plot threads wrap up too neatly and the villain’s end feels rushed, but the action is staged well and Krasinski sells the moral strain. A satisfying close to a stronger second season.
