Summary
Al is haunted by the notion his entire existence was simply created by his brother. When the youngest Elric angrily reveals these suspicions, only Winry can convince him just how wrong he is about Ed.
Our Take
A quieter, talkier episode that splits its time between Al’s crisis of doubt and some decent action on the sidelines. The brotherly confrontation lands well enough, and Winry’s intervention is a nice change of pace, but the resolution comes a bit too easily for the weight of the question being raised. Worth watching for the character work, just don’t expect much momentum.
