Our Take
A middling hour that leans on Wolfwood’s backstory to carry a fairly routine villain-of-the-week setup. The puppeteer antagonist is creepy on paper but never gets enough screen time to feel like a real threat, and the emotional beats land softer than the show clearly wants them to. Fine for completists, but the larger plot barely moves here.
