Our Take
This is the episode where the whole show clicks into place. A quiet, mostly dialogue-free hour of Vash’s past on the ship, and it explains his stubborn kindness better than any speech could. The pacing is slow on purpose and it earns every minute. If you’ve been enjoying Trigun casually, this is the one that makes you take it seriously.
