Summary
Meryl and Milly seek shelter in the mansion of Cliff Schezar, a wealthy man who has hired Vash as a bodyguard. Have the girls finally found the infamous gunslinger? or is Cliff hiding something.
Our Take
A middling middle chapter that mostly spins its wheels on the “is Vash really Vash” tease. The mansion setting gives Meryl and Milly some decent comedic back-and-forth, and the water shortage twist is a nice touch, but the mystery itself resolves too neatly to feel earned. Watchable enough, though you won’t miss much if you skip ahead.
