Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Superman battles Doomsday in the heart of a volcano. Doomsday is revealed to be a modified clone of Superman. Batman probes the Cadmus conspiracy to destroy the Justice League.
Our Take
A heavy, well-built hour that lets the Superman versus Doomsday rematch land with real weight while the Cadmus threads tighten in the background. The clone reveal is handled with more smarts than you’d expect, and Batman’s quiet digging gives the paranoia room to breathe. It’s one of the season’s stronger episodes and easy to recommend.
