Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Black Canary convinces Green Arrow to help save her mentor, Wildcat, from his involvement in an underground, superpowered fight club known as MetaBrawl.
Our Take
A fun, scrappy opener that leans on the Black Canary and Green Arrow chemistry, and their banter carries a fairly thin premise. The fight club stuff is entertaining in a cartoonish way, though Wildcat’s crisis gets resolved a bit too neatly. Worth a watch for the character work, just don’t expect much weight.
