Summary
Celebrations are cut short in the aftermath of the battle at York. Ragnar Lothbrok’s sons are pitted against each other as tensions reach an all time high and each is forced to choose a side.
Our Take
This is mostly a table-setting episode, and the pacing shows it. The brother-against-brother tension between Ivar and Ubbe carries real weight, and Ivar remains the most compelling thing on screen, but too much time goes to side plots that go nowhere. Worth watching for the family friction, just don’t expect the momentum of the York battle to carry over.
