Episode Summary & Review
Summary
A fierce battle between the Vikings and the French eventually comes down to Ragnar against Rollo and the outcome seals the fates of the two brothers.
Our Take
The midseason finale delivers a genuinely brutal naval fight, and the Ragnar versus Rollo showdown lands with real emotional weight even if the choreography gets chaotic in spots. Some of the strategy talk drags and the French scenes feel thin, but the brothers’ final exchange is worth the wait. A strong, punishing hour that earns its cliffhanger.
