Summary
The Viking army embarks and Paris goes into lockdown as the army prepares the defense, overseen by Odo. The Vikings are determined to make it through the gates of Paris and will stop at nothing to succeed.
Our Take
This is a big, loud siege hour that actually earns its spectacle, with the assault on Paris delivering some of the series’ best battle choreography to date. Floki’s unraveling gives the carnage a real emotional core, even if a few characters make baffling choices mid-fight. Worth your time for the climb alone.
