The show where everything’s made up and the points don’t matter, and the funniest half hour on television for over two decades. Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie’s telepathy remains one of comedy’s great partnerships, Wayne Brady proved improv could be a virtuoso instrument, and Drew Carey’s giggling host act was the perfect frame for the chaos.

Hoedowns, Scenes from a Hat, Living Scenery: the games are short-form improv perfected, and the misses are often funnier than the hits. The later CW run with Aisha Tyler kept the engine running. Endlessly rewatchable, endlessly quotable.
