Summary
An attack on the cattle pens sends Cullen and Elam into the prairie in search of their stolen food. Then, a stranger’s arrival threatens Elam’s family.
Our Take
A solid middle-of-the-road hour that mostly rides on Cullen and Elam’s chemistry out on the prairie. The range war setup has some genuine tension, but the stranger-threatening-Elam’s-family subplot feels like a rerun of things the show has already done better. Watchable and well-shot, just don’t expect it to move the season forward much.
