Summary
Durant confronts a formidable threat to the rolling city, while a horrific crime leads Lily and Elam to join forces in order to attain justice.
Our Take
A mostly solid hour that splits its time between Durant’s political scheming and a darker storyline with Lily and Elam. Common’s performance carries the second half, and the show handles the crime’s aftermath with more restraint than usual. The Durant material drags a bit, though. Worth watching if you’re already on board, but it won’t convert anyone new.
