Summary
As the new yakuza task force takes off, Ishida calls a summit. While Sato and Hayama join forces, Katagiri and Jake investigate a mysterious return.
Our Take
This is a slow-burn hour that mostly works because the character pairings are strong. Sato and Hayama’s uneasy alliance crackles with tension, and the summit scenes give Tozawa’s world a real sense of stakes. Jake’s investigation drags a bit by comparison, but the ending lands hard enough to justify the buildup. Worth your time if you’re already invested in the season.
