Our Review

The greatest science show ever put on television. Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, plus the build team that became legends in their own right, spent fourteen years answering the questions nobody else would take seriously: can a cell phone pop a gas station? Can you get stuck to an airplane toilet? Will a Christmas tree really torch your living room in seconds?

What made it immortal wasn’t the explosions, it was the method. Full size tests, control setups, high speed cameras, and the willingness to say we were wrong and redo it properly. A generation of engineers, welders, and scientists exists because two special effects guys in San Francisco refused to half measure anything. I feel the need, the need for science.
