Summary
The Orville discovers a Kaylon with a very special ability.
Our Take
This one goes for an emotional, reflective tone rather than action, and it mostly lands. The Kaylon backstory stuff is genuinely affecting, though the framing device feels a bit padded and some scenes repeat points we already get. Charly’s arc gets meaningful movement here. A quieter hour that earns its sentiment more often than not, worth a watch even if it’s not the season’s best.
