Our Take
A slower, heavier season opener that trades space battles for characters processing trauma, and it mostly lands. The Isaac storyline gets uncomfortable in ways the show commits to, though some of the melodrama feels padded. It looks gorgeous thanks to the bigger budget, but anyone wanting actual plot movement will be checking the clock. Worth it for the character work, just don’t expect fireworks.
