Summary
The Orville is called to mediate a peace treaty between two warring cultures, but tensions run even higher between Ed and Kelly when a familiar face boards the ship. Meanwhile Yaphit declares his love for Dr. Finn with surprising results.
Our Take
This one leans hard on the awkward ex subplot, and Rob Lowe’s charm can’t fully save a premise built on cheap jealousy jokes. The Yaphit and Dr. Finn storyline is weirder and honestly more fun than the main plot deserves. It’s a middling hour with a few decent laughs, fine for fans killing time but nothing you’ll remember next week.
