Summary
While private eye Karim Washington scours San Francisco for a missing teen who was involved in a cryptic game, OA wakes up in unfamiliar surroundings.
Our Take
The show comes back swinging with a noir-flavored reset that trades some of season one’s intimacy for a bigger, stranger sandbox. Karim’s investigation gives the hour a nice grounded momentum, and the new setting is genuinely unsettling in a good way. It’s a confident, if slightly disorienting, return that earns your attention.
