Summary
A journalist approaches the family with an offer. At Hap’s, a bond is forged with Homer and the others as they hatch a final option plan.
Our Take
This is the episode where the basement storyline finally clicks, mostly because the captives start feeling like actual people instead of victims in waiting. The pacing still wobbles whenever we cut back to the family and the journalist subplot, which mostly stalls. Worth watching for the group dynamics alone, even if the show keeps teasing more than it delivers.
