Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When the Bebop needs repairs, Jet sends Spike to chase down a tip on a phantom bounty to cover the cost, leaving Faye to supervise the mechanic.
Our Take
A slow-burn bottle episode that leans on Faye and the mechanic’s bickering while Spike wanders a mostly empty subplot. The banter lands often enough to keep things moving, and there’s one genuinely great standoff near the end, but the middle stretch drags. Fine as a breather between bigger episodes, just don’t expect the usual punch.
