Our Take
A tense, creepy hour that leans on atmosphere rather than action, and it mostly works. The spider creatures are genuinely unnerving, and the episode does smart character work with Sabine and Rex before the big finale. It drags a little in the middle stretch, but the unease builds nicely toward season two’s endgame. Worth your time, especially as setup.
