Rise of the Old Masters

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

The Rebels undergo a daring rescue mission, only to find themselves facing a powerful foe.

Our Take

The Inquisitor’s first real appearance gives this episode some genuine menace, and the failed rescue premise keeps things from feeling too safe. Kanan’s struggle with teaching Ezra adds a bit of emotional weight without getting sappy. It’s a solid, confident hour that moves the season forward nicely, even if the ghost crew’s banter still needs time to click. Worth your time.
