Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Our Lower Deckers have trouble bonding with Ensign Jet Manhaver, who has been assigned Boimler’s bunk and shift duties. Meanwhile, we get a glimpse of Boimler’s life on the U.S.S. Titan, which is more intense than he thought it would be.
Our Take
A fun but slightly scattered episode that splits its time between the Cerritos crew adjusting to Jet and Boimler getting worked over on the Titan. The Titan material lands best, with Riker in full chaotic captain mode, while the Jet storyline runs thin and leans on one joke a bit too long. Worth watching for the Trek references, just don’t expect much depth.
