Episode Summary & Review
Summary
The lovable, but awkward, Ensign Fletcher makes work difficult for Mariner and Boimler. Rutherford introduces Tendi to a holodeck training program he created.
Our Take
A middling episode that leans hard on the awkward-coworker gag without quite earning its payoff. The holodeck storyline gets some genuine laughs and gives Tendi more to do, which helps. Fletcher’s antics go on a bit too long and the ending feels rushed. Fine as a light watch, but the season has done better with both characters and jokes.
