Summary
Samurai Jack has become a popular folk hero amongst little children, so Aku decides to spread his own kind of fairy tales that put Jack in a bad light.
Our Take
A lighter, more comedic hour that swaps action for Aku’s propaganda stories, and it mostly works because the villain is genuinely funny when he’s flustered by children. The fairy tale segments get a little repetitive, though, and the pacing sags in the middle. Worth a watch for the change of tone, even if it’s not an essential episode.
