Summary
Earth’s biggest pop star uses musical brain programming to command her army of fans.
Our Take
A solid sci-fi premise that fits Futurama’s sweet spot of pop culture satire and actual speculative comedy. The gags about fandom as mind control land more often than they miss, and the pop star target gets skewered without feeling stale. It moves fast and doesn’t overstay its welcome, which is more than you can say for a lot of mid-season episodes. Worth your time.
