Summary
Fry is heartbroken to learn Leela’s soulmate is someone other than him.
Our Take
A surprisingly sweet Fry and Leela episode that leans on the show’s sci-fi absurdity instead of easy gross-out gags. The soulmate premise gets some genuinely funny escalation, and the emotional beats land better than they have any right to. It does run out of steam in the back half, repeating a joke or two past its prime. Still, an easy recommendation for longtime fans.
