Summary
A paralyzed Bender joins rock star Beck on the concert road.
Our Take
Bender’s folk-singing road trip with Beck is a fun idea that mostly coasts on guest-star charm. The satire of benefit concerts lands a few good jabs, and Beck’s self-deprecating cameo is better than most celebrity appearances manage. Some jokes drag past their expiration point, though, and the middle stretch sags. A solid, goofy hour worth a casual watch.
