Summary
The crew discovers the lost city of Atlanta, where Fry falls in love with a mermaid.
Our Take
A breezy, joke-packed half hour that leans into absurdity and mostly gets away with it. The underwater Atlanta setting is a great excuse for sharp sight gags and one of the show’s better musical numbers, and the mermaid romance ends exactly as stupidly as it should. Not much emotional weight, but it doesn’t need any. Solid fun, worth a rewatch.
