Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Fry’s head is conjoined with Amy’s body after a car crash. Meanwhile, Bender receives a robot recall and faces the risk of catastrophic butt failure.
Our Take
A goofy body-swapping premise that mines solid laughs from Fry and Amy’s awkward arrangement, and Bender’s recall subplot gives us some of the season’s better one-liners. The romance angle gets a bit thin in the back half, but Zoidberg’s surgery scenes alone justify the runtime. Light, fast, and very rewatchable.
