Our Take
This is the episode where Futurama finds one of its all-time great characters in Zapp Brannigan, a pompous idiot voiced perfectly by Billy West. The date plot with Leela is a bit thin, but the jokes come fast and the Zapp material is so strong it barely matters. A funny, confident half hour that signals the show hitting its stride early. Worth your time.
