Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Brockmire must choose between staying in Morristown with Jules or returning to the major leagues. Jules holds a stadium wide drinking contest. An intense play on the field leads to a victorious moment and a surprising conclusion.
Our Take
The season finale leans hard on the will-he-or-won’t-he setup, and Hank Azaria sells the emotional pull of both options better than the writing deserves. The drinking contest stuff feels like padding in an otherwise tight episode. A solid wrap-up that lands its big moment, even if the resolution arrives a bit too neatly.
