Our Take
A funnier, looser episode than the premiere, with Hank Azaria and Amanda Peet’s chemistry doing most of the heavy lifting. The superstition premise is thin, but the show’s willingness to let its characters be messy and self-destructive keeps it engaging. A solid step forward, even if the baseball side still feels undercooked.
