Summary
A shocking discovery turns Daniel’s world upside down. Johnny schemes a way to give Sam and Tory their edge back. The tournament reveals its location.
Our Take
Daniel gets the bulk of the drama here and it mostly lands, even if the big reveal leans on coincidence a bit too heavily to feel earned. Johnny’s coaching subplot is lighter and fun, a nice balance to the heavier material. A solid table-setter that moves pieces into place without dragging its feet.
