Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Kreese faces a dangerous test to prove his worthiness. Daniel offers Johnny a helping hand while the teens contemplate life beyond high school.
Our Take
Kreese’s prison storyline carries most of this one, and Martin Kove is clearly having fun with it, though the “prove yourself” setup feels like gang-movie material we’ve seen a hundred times. The Johnny and Daniel scenes are warmer and funnier than expected. A decent bridging episode that moves pieces around without much payoff yet.
