Summary
Daniel invites Anthony to join Miyagi-Do and discovers he doesn’t know his son as well as he thought. Miguel learns the truth about Johnny and Carmen.
Our Take
A slower, more personal hour that gives the show some breathing room, and it mostly works. The Daniel and Anthony storyline finally addresses a problem the series has ignored for seasons, even if the resolution feels rushed. The Miguel and Johnny stuff lands harder thanks to some genuinely awkward, honest scenes. Not much karate, but the character work earns the detour. Worth your time.
