Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Someone defaces Daniel’s dealership billboard, and he suspects his rival. Meanwhile, Samantha learns the truth about Kyler, and Johnny has eye awakening meetings with his son and former wife.
Our Take
Johnny gets the best material here, and William Zabka continues to be the reason this show works. His awkward lunch with Robby and the run-in with his ex feel genuinely uncomfortable in a good way. The billboard subplot is thinner, but the Sam and Kyler storyline finally moves somewhere. A solid hour that keeps the season’s momentum going.
