Summary

Johnny starts Miguel’s training in earnest while beginning an online promotion of his dojo. Meanwhile, Daniel volunteers to chaperone the school Halloween dance to keep an eye on Samantha but comes face to face with a skeleton from his past.

Our Take

The Halloween dance gives this episode a nice visual boost, and the skeleton costume callback is a fun wink without wearing out its welcome. Miguel’s training scenes still carry the most energy, though Johnny’s fumbling with online marketing runs a bit thin. A solid middle chapter that keeps the rivalry simmering without pushing it forward much.
