Our Take
A fun setup episode that leans into small-town weirdness, and the mystery of Jean and Gene gives the season its first real hook. The powers-restored gang bickering their way through the investigation is reliably entertaining, even if some subplots feel like padding. Not much momentum yet, but the creeping dread in that town is enough to keep you curious.
