Summary
Jack’s war with his neighbor reaches a turning point when it threatens to ruin a date with Lynette. And when the school photographer ups his rate, Durbin takes school pictures into his own hands.
Our Take
The neighbor feud has some real laughs, mostly because Jack being petty over tiny stakes is this show’s comfort zone, but the Lynette date material feels undercooked and ends exactly where you expect. The Durbin photography subplot is filler, thin even by B-plot standards. A middling half hour that coasts on Glenn Howerton’s irritation, fine if you’re already watching, skippable if you’re not.
