Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When Jack casually gives Durbin some marriage advice, it backfires, gets Durbin kicked out of the house, and Jack takes him in. The A.P. Bio kids tell Jack if they can get Miles’ DNA, they’ll learn a little biology while pulling off the ultimate revenge.
Our Take
Durbin as a houseguest is exactly the kind of premise this show does well, and the odd-couple friction between him and Jack produces some solid laughs. The DNA caper with the kids is thinner and mostly filler. A decent, watchable half hour that coasts on the Durbin material without ever hitting anything special.
