Summary
Team Splinter goes back in time to the wild frontier in search of a weapon to destroy the Witness.
Our Take
The Western detour is a fun change of pace, even if the “weapon” hunt feels like a lot of running around for what we get at the end. Some solid character moments carry it, especially the quieter scenes between the core cast, but the frontier setting does more aesthetic work than narrative work. A decent middle-of-the-road hour that fans will enjoy without loving.
