Episode Summary & Review
Summary
After his beating, Jake struggles to remember his mission to 1963. Meanwhile, Lee’s life proceeds inevitably on course to Daley Plaza 11.22.63.
Our Take
A slower, sadder hour that mostly works as a bridge to the finale. James Franco gets some quiet material as Jake pieces himself back together, and the dread around Lee builds nicely, but the pacing sags in the middle stretches. It’s fine if you’re already invested, though it won’t convert anyone who’s been wavering on the season so far.
