Summary
Roman is less than thrilled when he discovers the party is being thrown by his ‘sell out’ writing partner who hired him to rub his face in the sale of his new spec script.
Our Take
Roman finally gets an episode built around his bitterness, and Martin Starr runs with it, making his petty feud with a former collaborator weirdly sympathetic. The Hollywood satire lands some sharp jabs, and Casey’s subplot gives the episode a bit of heart without getting sappy. A strong late-season entry that rewards sticking with these losers.
