Summary
At his own birthday, Steve Guttenberg volunteers to turn his party into a writing workshop when he overhears Roman and writing partner Kent discussing their script.
Our Take
Steve Guttenberg playing a slightly sad, genuinely generous version of himself is a great premise, and the episode mostly lives up to it. The writers’ room scenes are the highlight, with Roman’s wounded ego getting a proper workout. A subplot with Kyle and a famous director fizzles, but the core material is strong enough that it barely matters.
