Summary
Maya pushes back on Marty’s plan for Omar. Ruth pursues the hipster heroin market. Wendy tries to raise $150 million. The new sheriff causes problems.
Our Take
A busy table-setting episode that juggles four storylines without letting any of them breathe. Ruth’s move into the hipper drug trade is the highlight, and the new sheriff adds a welcome wildcard, but Wendy’s fundraising slog drags hard. It’s solid connective tissue, just don’t expect the tension of the premiere to carry through.
