Summary
Marty finds a way to control Ruth. Wendy worms her way into a job. Looking for another business to invest in, Marty digs for info on the strip bar.
Our Take
A quieter hour that mostly works because of Ruth, whose scenes with Marty give the season its first real spark of tension. Wendy’s job hunt adds some welcome texture, though the strip club scheming feels like setup more than story. Nothing drags badly, but it’s clearly a middle-mover episode. Worth watching, just don’t expect big payoffs here.
