Summary
As the Abbies gather outside the fence, Theo do or diely tries to establish communications with Margaret. In the past, CJ awakens every 20 years to check the hibernation facilities… and slowly comes to grips with the fact that the world that he knew is gone.
Our Take
The CJ hibernation-watch material is easily the best thing here, a quiet, lonely stretch of sci-fi that the show hasn’t earned all season. The present-day stuff with Margaret and the Abbies is the usual clumsy Theo show, with dialogue that clunks whenever anyone opens their mouth. Watch it for the flashbacks, tune out the rest.
