Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Michael learns he’s being targeted by an operative and soon after is kidnapped and taken to the wilderness along with a prominent player in Miami’s underworld. Elsewhere, Michael meets a former spy who’s selling his services.
Our Take
A change of scenery helps this one a lot, trading Miami’s gloss for a cat-and-mouse chase in the woods, and Donovan does solid work when Michael has to outthink instead of out-talk his enemies. The subplot with the retired spy selling his skills feels like setup for later rather than its own story. A fun, scrappy hour that’s worth a watch even if it never quite hits top gear.
